- Require write access on the target environment to clone or move a resource
- Check read access on shared variables before a reference is added or resolved
- Limit team credentials, git sources, and imports of other backups to team-wide writers
- Require the delete level for backup, volume, storage, and task deletes
- Require create access for previews, new projects, and git sources
- Use the token team for the access scope, and check team-wide access on Livewire updates
- Require instance admin to toggle the API and MCP server
- Hide server pickers and broadcast details from members without access
- Check read access on the project or environment for shared variables
pages, the canvas, and the sidebar, not only navigation access
- Require team-wide read for the server shared variables canvas API
- Open the environment variable editor read-only when the value is hidden
- Show the integration tokens button only to users who can open it
- Show disabled confirmation buttons as disabled, not as danger buttons
Add a /dashboard/canvas page that renders every team server with its
resources and their running or queued deployments, backed by a new
ServerCanvasController::dashboard endpoint and a per-server usage
endpoint for zone headers. The dashboard remembers the list/canvas
choice and each section (projects, servers) its own table/grid view.
- Show Deploying/Queued pills on canvas cards and a foldable recent
deployments panel; add shared CanvasControls component
- Allow backup downloads from the server host via the S3 download
storage (PrepareFileDownloadJob accepts a null container)
- Extract backup toggle/run actions into ManagesDatabaseBackup and
surface them in backup execution headers; merge S3 and retention
sections into the general backup settings
- Move deployments indicator to the top bar and add a main nav
resource menu with submenus; simplify breadcrumbs and settings
layouts
- Add shared variables overview canvas and scheduled task modals
- Add feature tests for dashboard canvas, view modes, navbar
submenus, backup S3 downloads and scheduled task modals
Scope resource permissions and related records to the owning team across
team switches, cloning, deployments, and resource operations.
Merge ClickHouse volume mounts, preserve anonymous data volumes on stop,
and require adopting current data before starting or restarting.
Fix file storage deletion checks and add regression coverage.
Allow SharedVariables Livewire components (Environment, Project, Server)
to accept UUID parameters directly via mount() instead of relying solely
on route parameters. This enables Livewire component testing without a
live route context.
Also adds comment field support when saving/updating server shared
environment variables, guards PostgreSQL-specific migration statements
from running under SQLite (test environment compatibility), and expands
the feature test suite with server shared variable scenarios including
inline comment preservation and update behaviour.
Restrict sensitive operations to admins/owners and hide sensitive data
from team members:
- Add authorization checks to Livewire components and API endpoints
- Restrict team members from accessing sensitive permissions and data
- Hide environment variable values from non-admin team members
- Update policies to enforce team-level admin status requirement
- Add useSensitivePermissions policy for read:sensitive tokens
- Improve disabled button UX with auth-specific tooltips
- Add authorization checks in middleware for API tokens
Closes authorization gaps in project management, server management,
and settings components.
Add comment field support to the "New Shared Variable" modal, ensuring it's saved properly for both normal and shared environment variables at all levels (Team, Project, Environment).
Changes:
- Add comment property, validation, and dispatch to Add component (Livewire & view)
- Update saveKey methods in Team, Project, and Environment to accept comment
- Replace SharedEnvironmentVariable model's $guarded with explicit $fillable array
- Include comment field in creation flow for all shared variable types
The comment field (max 256 chars, optional) is now available when creating shared variables and is consistently saved across all variable types.

Move the success dispatch outside the DB transaction closure to ensure
it only fires after the transaction has successfully committed. Use
reference variable to track changes across the closure boundary.
