- read the docker.io tags from the documented tags API
- check that docker.io still has a manifest before deleting it, docker.io also answers 202 to the deletion of a missing manifest
- count every manifest in --delete
- a run can stop after the deletion on ghcr.io and before the one on docker.io, so every run deletes on docker.io the versions that ghcr.io deleted last
- they came after every index, so the leftovers of earlier runs waited about 190 runs
- delete the oldest first on both registries instead of the manifests that only docker.io has first
- read every docker.io manifest from the Docker Hub API, tagged or not
- delete the images and attestations of an index right after the index
- show the docker.io sizes next to the ghcr.io ones
- push the stable channel to sync/stable-v<version> instead of a branch named after the time, a new sync of the same version updates its pull request
- close the open sync pull requests of older stable versions as superseded
- name the commit and the pull request after the version change, like the upstream check of peakimages/sqlite, with a note to squash merge it
- a local tag that differs from origin, such as a tag moved on origin before the tag protection rule, failed the fetch with "could not fetch origin" and no reason, as --quiet also hid the rejected tags
- Passes the logins to curl on stdin, which keeps them out of the process list
- Sends a token only to the host the script expects
- Checks the format of version ids and tags before they go into a request
- scripts/tmp-remove-arch-tags.sh lists the arch tags such as 4.1.2-amd64 whose image a multi-platform tag still reaches, and removes as many as --remove asks for
- A registry deletes a tag only with its image, so --remove moves each arch tag to a placeholder manifest and deletes the placeholder, the image stays, as the multi-platform manifest points at it by digest
- Once Coolify is healthy, install.sh switches the instance to that update channel with php artisan app:update-channel
- The command and the update page share the rule that keeps the updates of the old channel after a switch to a more stable one
- Every channel has a block of its own, every version after this one reads only these blocks
- Every stable sync also fills the coolify and traefik keys older instances read
- An instance keeps a copy of versions.json and reads upstream.json of the image until it has one
- Docker Compose builds the development helper from the main branch of that repository, scripts/dev-helper from there or from a local checkout
- Remove buildHelperImage from the settings, nothing calls it since its button was removed
- a pull request into next took the preview version in release.json, which still names 4.6.0-beta.1 once 4.6.0 is released, so its image sorted before 4.6.0
- An upstream line is tagged v<upstream>-v<version> in git instead of <upstream>-v<version>
- Coolify has no upstream lines, its git tags stay v<version>, and the v is stripped from the Docker image tags
- Moves the main tag on ghcr.io when main changed since the last build, versioned after the stable version like 4.5.0.20261028.1
- Pushes no version tag, so the clean manifests workflow deletes the build it replaces
- version.sh --main picks the version from MAIN_VERSION and MAIN_REVISION, the labels of the build main points at
- The upgrade script removes COOLIFY_VERSION from .env, so a tag such as nightly or pr-1234 is never taken for the version
- install.sh still takes a version such as 4.6.0-beta.1, LATEST_IMAGE in .env picks the image and the image carries its version
- Remove other/nightly, the nightly channel uses the production files, so there are no longer two copies to keep in sync
- sync-cdn.sh --nightly syncs the files of the commit the nightly is built from to /coolify/nightly on the CDN, with the nightly version in its versions.json and in /coolify/release.json, and pushes them straight to main of coollabs-cdn
- version.sh picks the branch the nightly comes from, the release branch of the next version after the newest stable one or next, and names the version <preview>.<YYYYMMDD>.<N>
- The image is labeled with its version and commit, the nightly workflow reads both from the image nightly points at to count up N and to skip a run without a new commit
- Asks for the stage of a prerelease and offers the versions the branch allows, the bump the commits need is preselected
- Sets the version in release.json, dates CHANGELOG.md for a stable release, commits and pushes
- undo-release.sh resets the release commit while it is not pushed
- config/constants.php reads the Coolify and helper versions from them
- The image and sync-cdn.sh write versions.json from upstream.json, install.sh reads it by key
- Replaces php artisan sync:cdn and its sync:cdn task in scripts/run
- --purge clears the Cloudflare cache sooner than the 10 minutes it keeps a file, with the token and zone from the environment or .env
- a build pushes its images before the index that tags them, a run in between would see them as unused
- a push while the run reads the pages of versions shows one version twice, the list keeps it once so the second delete does not stop the run
- ghcr.io lists deleted versions for 30 days, a HEAD on docker.io for each would reach thousands per run, which could trigger rate limits
- twice the delete limit covers the last two runs, and manifests only docker.io has sort first, so a copy docker.io refused is deleted within two runs
phpdotenv trims whitespace around an unquoted value, including the \r of
CRLF line endings. The repair quoted such values, which broke valid lines in
CRLF files and kept spaces that phpdotenv drops. Trim the value first and
quote it only when a space is still inside it.

Installers before 4.5.1 and manual edits could leave ROOT_USERNAME (or the
root email or password) with spaces and no quotes. The running container
ignores .env because its config is cached, so the next upgrade recreated it
and phpdotenv failed, which made every page return HTTP 500. The upgrade now
quotes these values before it restarts Coolify.

- Add an Axiom edge domain setting (default us-east-1) and use the /v1/ingest endpoint, so EU datasets work
- Remove the Highlight drain (service ended) and stop its running containers
- Update Fluent Bit from 2.0 to 5.1 and use the warn log level
- Restart running drains when the generated files change, with the new image pulled before the old container stops
- Show log drain validation errors under their fields
Closes#9898
Open root registration for ten minutes after startup, then require a Coolify restart to reopen it. Update installer credential handling and explain the setup window in the registration UI.
Pin every helper download by SHA256 and the base images by digest, drop
the curl | bash installers, and add scripts/helper-checksums to refresh
the checksums. Update Alpine to 3.24, Docker CLI 29.9.2, Compose 5.6.1,
Buildx 0.38.1, pack 0.40.10, Railpack 0.43.0, and mise 2026.10.14.
Bump the helper to 1.0.19.

ROOT_USERNAME with a space (or a password with #, $ or quotes) was written
unquoted, so phpdotenv failed to parse .env and Coolify returned HTTP 500.

On a fresh install, install.sh removed every authorized_keys line that
contained "coolify", including unrelated operator keys such as one
commented "coolify-disposable". Remove only lines whose comment is
exactly "coolify", the comment of the installer's own key.

- Do not check database port mappings in a bundle: the UI checks them
only since March 2026, so older servers could not be transferred, and
the values stay on the server owner's own host.
- The dev .env runs Cloud mode, where the import check refuses private
addresses. reset.sh now allows the VM network of A on both instances.

- Skip TrimStrings and ConvertEmptyStringsToNull on the import route; an empty shared variable failed the whole import
- Keep compose parser versions, static ports, legacy variable keys, and only the bundle's variables and destinations
- Give the transfer back token the deploy permission that the import needs
- Move the Cloudflare tunnel DNS record with the server and park it on the source
- Refuse cloud server deletes, power on, tunnel and DNS changes, and scp for archives; skip their backup alerts and provider polling
- Add a column-level round-trip test, archive guard tests, and a live full-coverage transfer test
- Advance the GitLab App sequence in the dev seeder
