The filters internals guide did not reference several public functions
of the filter API, mainly the ones handling the configuration during
the parsing and the post-parsing stages. They are now described, at the
place where a filter developer needs them:
* filter_find_class() looks a filter class up by name, in the class
registry section (3.2);
* flt_conf_add(), flt_conf_insert() and flt_conf_delete() manage the
three configuration orders of a legacy filter configuration, in the
legacy keyword parser section (3.2.2), with the constraint on the
FLT_CFG_FL_EXPLICIT flag;
* flt_use_legacy_filter() tests the filter mode of a proxy during the
parsing, in the same section, with the constraint not to cache its
result before the post-parsing stage;
* flt_find_legacy_conf() searches the legacy filter configurations
during the parsing, whatever the filter mode, in the section about
referencing a filter configuration from other directives (3.7);
* flt_has_explicit_config() detects an explicit filter declaration,
in the same section.
